Yes. Some very ironic twists in this ships history.

Nice choice with water texture. It's a good method , less work when you compare it to the structural base I made for my Ward. There're thousands of ways to create sea dioramas.

Also I've noticed that your ship has remastered colors. Deck on yours is much more darker blue.

Don't usually like to get my feet wet, but glad I came here to look at this build. As usual the history as much as the model gets me hooked.

A new area of modeling along with the Polish company's translation to English has presented a challenge. At least if I screw something up I can blame it on their translation!!

However it does give one a new appreciation for what our Polish friends go through trying to understand Rata's version of the Queen's English.

This kinda reminds me of my first paper build a Marek 1/33 P-26 which was a disaster. Defines the term "Bitten off more than he can chew!" With the help of a very helpful CMDRTED here on the forum I have been able to save myself from sinking more than once so far.

Once I got the basic hull assembled it is now just reading (and re reading) the instructions before just taking a stab and gluing stuff on where it looks appropriate!

Chugging right along. Very tedious.

The actual ship took 17 1/2 days to build in 1918! One hundred years ago.

It looks like they actually had a porta potty hanging off the side of what JSC calls the "caboose". Not a floaty thang expert but that sounds a little suspicious to me...

Once you get the hang of it these actually go pretty fast. Next up the 4 stacks that give her class its popular name.
