Thanks for all the help guys. To be quite frankly when I do another ship and do a better job on the hull / deck joint I might consider railings.

Looking great Ensign (JG) MichaelS. Seriously mate, it's very impressive. Well done and a real tribute to a great US warship.

I can't find them on the JSC website, there are only 1:250 railings

Thanks for feedback. We fixed it and now you can see them on our website.
i would recommend 3-bars grey railings. You get 154 cm railing length on one sheet
lasercut railings, 154 cm, 3-bars, grey (DA 016) - JSC (International webstore)

A lot going on here the past few days but I am slowly making headway (yuk! yuk!). Just about ready to start the rigging.

Calling this a wrap. My first paper ship build and I learned a lot. I believe this is an older ship kit. To me the deck to hull joint needs to be done differently to get a better seam. The masts and other round stuff are .020, .015 & .010 styrene stock or dressmakers pin wire

Pretty fine result for a 'first' effort in shipbuilding. Looks great.
