Your source for rigging.....where and what is it. Noticed on another thread you made comment about it taking awhile to get. Stretched sprue and a very fine rigging thread from Poland is what I use. But agree, nothing works as good as a stiff piece of wire.

Speedbird - that is stunning. The colors also compliment the scale of the model and your detail nicely.

I also really like the way you have mounted it.

A little update:

So I ordered more rigging wire as I was out from my last build. This was back in early December, that package was lost in the mail. I re-ordered this time from a US supplier, and a big one at that, lost in the mail, pending refund. Actually I’m 2 emails deep without a reply so if I don’t hear from them by Friday, I’ll start naming names. Not their fault it was lost, but not replying isn’t good business.

So, I ordered a THIRD resuppky from BNA in Australia, and it’s already cleared customs. Maybe, just maybe, next week emden will be finished. MAYBE

Finally!!!

So, an observation: I don’t think one spool will be enough. I’m gonna just order a case so I don’t have to go through shipping hell again.

Anyway, some progress

A quick and badly made video of the rigging wire I’m using. To clear up some points.
