Gridley class destroyer scale 1:400

These are some pictures of the model I have build. I hope to make a small diorama with this model in action in the battle of The Phillippine Sea.

Nice work. Is this is an enlargement of a Wayne McCullough model?

Smile

Hello Don, yes this is the enlargement of a Wayne Mccullough model by gerry1966. I had some hard time building the real small parts like rafts and aa guns but all over I think the model has come out quit nice. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so sometimes when building a model seems to go a bit wrong it's hard for me to continue. Many half build models disappeared in the waist bin in the past. Now I try to be a little bit less perfectionistic and camouflage any construction mistakes . Thanks for the compliment Michael. Scale is 1:400.
