It'll be worthy of a museum place when you have finished.

I gotta agree this is my first model with that many details....but enjoying every step of building her...I am not sure if I am at the level to place anything at a museum yet...

I wouldn't be to sure Olo. I've seen lots of models in various museums that are way below the standard of your model.

Have you had a look at the Hood association website? There is loads of info and a gallery of models that others have made. I'm sure they would be super pleased to see your effort once you are done.

For some reason I'm being denied posting the URL for the association, but here is the address.

Thanks again for your kind words. I know that web site and I use it for reference while building my model. I've seen models as well and I need to admit that they are great. I can always send them pictures of finished model and see if they like it

Thank you Michael. I will try my best to keep that standard to the end of the build.

I love watching these battleships come together. I like how each sub-structure is a work of art on it's own and how they all come together to make up a masterpiece.

Great work so far Tom, you're doing the old girl proud.

Thanks jaffro...you are right building big ships is like building several models at once...every part of this kit contains so many parts even small details....also just so clear things out HMS Hood wasn't battleship she was last battlecruiser that was build for Royal Navy and looks like I will be stuck with her for a while :P

I stand corrected, I've always assumed she was a battleship.
