No I did't it was first time I tried them, I shaped a roughly shape, glued and it looked as a cone, attached to the model and than applied some white glue and painted with the paint...

Fantastic work Olo!

I'm always impressed with people's creativity in finding materials for various modeling needs.
Wouldn't have ever considered teabags myself.

Those cable reels are impressive, did you cut out the wheels or were the laser cut?

Talking about the tea bag canvases, I stumbled yesterday on a "wet wipe" that had been taken out of the packet and left to dry.

This is a great alternative as well, as it has a very small weave indeed, does not distort and is incredibly strong.

I experimented, moulding it with diluted white PVA and the result was good - and easy to work with.

Worth trying as well for anyone interested...
