HMS Hood
Welcome again. This is going to be my next project. This is battlecruiser HMS Hood from Halinski, started working with this kit a day ago. First I would like to work on all decks and make them more realistic like they were made from wood.I am using self adhesive maple paper. This is my small progress of it. If any one have any close ups pictures, reference materials, useful unique links about the ship anatomy and details please share I would like to make the model as realistic as my skill allow me to do it.

I tried this one years ago and had trouble with the transition from the angled rear top deck to the lower rear deck. I've still got it, unfinished. I'll look at it and try to figure what went wrong. I assume they
haven't corrected and reissued it.You might check with one of the European sites to see if someone has built it and made any corrections |
