There is a design problem with the kit you show (#96). It was corrected with
the kit published as 6-03. As I remember they had two anchors on one side
and one on the other, the deck and sides don't agree. Maybe you have the corrected
one too?

Thanks fellas for the imfo on the kit I will give it a go and see3 what happens. sometimes the same kit will differ then the other like buying two pairs of shoes of the same size one pair wont fit and the other will. The build has begun.

Hull assembly

Ahoy

The build has begun

Ahoy
thanks grandson and Phil for your reply I am always honored a little break from the aviation department now its time to turn to on the Iron duke. Starting out with all frames and frame sheers they were backed with light cardboard. when dry I cutted them out and prepared them for assembly.. As of the update build report I have the intire hull along with frames and sheersa in place letting the unit dry over night tomorrow I will add the weather decks and casement decks then the fun part will begin adding the hull skins and the under plateing of the hull. dont know nothing of this kit Its old for ceretain we all know what old kits are problems, so dar no fit issues to the hull assembly but once the hull is finished everything will be a piece of cake..........Here are the update pictures of the build.

Watching the hull come together is a real buzz, the top is a thrill - all of which will be in abundance with THE master class builder himself....OUR man Boats {or my adopted Grandad } this will be great
