So far so good!
I can also see why you bought the laser accessories. Good luck going forward!

Hi solo67,
there you can find my short description of building trabaccolo: Trabaccolo [WAK] - just for some practice. There are very few pictures, but if you need more, say a word. I wrote a few words about planking on your FB. And good luck:-) Best Tomek |

Good job.
On the last picture it looks like you glued stern post (part 87P/L) too far from the hull. Look at the instruction picture no. 4. The upper part should "hook" the deck (just to keep the hull dimensions) On your last picture this part is shifted backwards. (See the first picture how it was designed). Have you maintained compability between dotted lines and planks? If you have moved them up even 0,5 mm, the circumference of the hull is larger and the planks become too short. What can you do now? Try to repair the gap as on the second picture. But remeber that white paint is different then white paper:-((( The same should be made with brown wales (parts 106 a-e) or try to make wales on your own and paint. On the other side make a trick: cut planks longer and remove black lines at their ends. Then fit. Good luck. Tomek PS. As a designer I always afraid of my mistakes, but I saw three of this model and the lenght of the planks were OK. Go on and don't be worry. |
