Extremely nice.
Do these kits have options to build waterline? If not, is it easy/hard to cut the model down to a waterline? I have little(no) experience with kits like this...but I really want to build a big Battleship. But I am never satisfied with the look of the Hull surfaces on these big boat kits. Even the best modelers (as shown here) cannot hide the seams and deviations associated with paper construction. No, I have no interest in filling and painting. I just wondered if it would be possible to build a kit like this one "in the water".

From what I have experienced is that you can do it on the bigger models by just using the top half of the formers and the great skill you have it should be easy

That's why paper modeling is so much more fun. Anyone can assemble molded parts. 15 yrs ago I discovered this form, other than the Arizona (which I built side by side to my paper Oklahoma) I've never gone back. Your model is progressing well, your skills will improve and your speed will accelerate as you go.

Appreciate that, one my earlier attempts. I have more models to build than I have years on this planet. Nagato is my favorite ww2 ship and I so wished now I used my current techniques to build her I have often wanted to do her again. But alas, I will be long dead before she reappears for a build.

After a weeks worth of work finally have "B" turret finished and "A" turret at about 90% , just needs the blast bags to be added and a few tiny bits-in-bobs ,, can almost see the end in sight now ... almost
