I think I'll stick to what I said in one of our emails.

Those who don't know what I'm talking about can read it below:
So far I have only a one idea for that OS2U. Design a simple model which would be more like a silhouette. I would make both side views(colored of course) and then glue them on a cardboard to make the fuselage wider. Wings and floats would be a separate parts.

I think in this scale what you propose will be perfectly ok. Best of luck mate!

Not much has been done since my last update. I've camouflaged the funnels and the superstructure's extension.

Heavy AA is in positions. That was incredibly difficult stage of this project. Worst thing with these turrets was the open rear. It's really difficult to not crush such small and fragile parts.

Today I had very little time to work on Maryland but at least I've camouflaged the heavy AA.

Looking good Kacper. You have inspired me to finish my repaint of Bruno's USS Northhampton as the USS Chester.

Thanks Brent and thanks Don.
I've heard about Bruno's ships. Your repaint Brent may be really interesting. USS Chester is certainly a good subject. There's no paper model of CA-27.
Before I started Maryland I had thought about scratch-building USS Miami CL-89 or USS Des Moines CA-134. But in the end I decided to build a battleship - BB-46.

Anyway, below in attachments is some of my "work-in-progress". Another AAs... This time on the platforms...
