Maly Modelarz Stefan Batory

I took a 3 weekend break from Yuri Gagarin and built the ancient 1970 version of Stefan Batory from Maly. The kit actually went together very well with few fit issues considering its age. I went with waterline in this case. I need to add rails, chains, and chairs but is otherwise finished. I'm going to draw up rails in ACAD, can't justify expensive photo etch rails on this model.

Back to Yuri.

There are several better kits around, I just had this in my stack for years.

That really came out great. A very attractive model. Is it safe to assume you scanned the model pages and printed them on high quality paper? The original paper is nearly unusable.

I did, kit has been storage for many yrs. When I first got into the hobby I used maly kits to hone some skills. Even though simple and lack for detail I always felt the models look pretty good, especially from normal viewing distances. I needed a break from yuri for a while but didn't want to start something I couldn't complete in 2 weeks and 3 weekends so I chose this model.
