lol so basically, by disagreeing, you are agreeing with me...they're aren't good.

I don't like game rips for various reasons...but I was trying to restrain myself.

I think this may be that model...not sure.

This is not your fault...your build looks fine.
Its the model that most likely doesn't impress.

Use it as a learning experience...even the worst model can still teach you things.
Then move on to a better version?

Not sure if Disney Experience offers a Pearl, but they do have the Wicked Wench:

I don't know why...maybe he is updating it?
Not all his kits are in the public domain anymore, and many of his kits are being copied and sold (illegally).
So be careful what you purchase online.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have downloaded both of them and shall have a go at them.

Uhu02's model IS in public domain still. But it will be a little bit more than i can handle at the moment i think.

as for the scale of my model, Here goes

Just want to say, Uhu's Black Pearl model is NOT available on his site...therefore it is NOT available to the public at the present time
If you downloaded it anywhere else, you downloaded an unauthorized copy of his model.
You may also have downloaded an incomplete or inferior copy, since a lot of pirated material is second rate.

Yes, Uhu is known for producing more complicated models with high quality artwork.
The biggest drawback of his older stuff being the lack of in-depth instructions.

Since your photo does not indicate a grid square measure, we still don't know the scale of your model! lol
Assuming the grid is Centimeters, the boat looks about 1/400 scale.

if its inches, the model is around 1/165 scale.

Looks like the old instruction pages that Uhu has not closed.
He's just removed the direct link (to that page) from his main Catalog list.
But I don't see the actual model here.
In fact, Uhu states "download ended".

The Model pages shown are just very very low quality images of the pages...please don't try to build the model from those.

That aside, there are plenty of good, free papercraft lying around. If there is anything in particular you want to look for, feel free to ask
