Very nice, I've always liked these little workhorses. Great looking model and a nice display.

I too would love to know if this is an available kit to buy?
Somewhere off Gold Beach, there is a "Higgin's Boat" with a Universal Carrier and crew on board. There is no record of them arriving at the beach, so they are assumed to have been hit and sunk offshore. The Carrier driver was my biological Father, who I never met.

I three would like to purchase a kit, if it is available somewhere (I know, dumb joke; but I still would like a copy of the kit). A local yacht yard here in Annapolis, MD, built Higgins boats during WWII.

Hy!
I made it from paper by (Tomas Models 1994-02) Amerykanska barka desantowa LCVP, it was a basic model, after that I add details from 100 photos of real LCVP. |
