Scale Help?

The SLC Maiale two man submarine was about 24 feet long.

This model is going to be 9 inches long. What scale would that be?

Thanks,

BP

Bob, next time, here's the reasoning:
Actual size = 24ft = 24 x 12in = 288in
Model size = 9in
scale = model size / actual size = 9 / 288 = 1 / 32

Or, equivalently, and easier to calculate:
scaling factor = actual size / model size = 288 / 9 = 32,
and scale = 1 / scaling factor

Thank you Bernie and Cfuruti,

I hope to have this finished and ready for the Ship Modelers Display table on the 19th of this month along with a bit of the S.L.C. Siluro A Lenta Corsa interesting combat history.
