Oooh brass and extra goodies, go Rick go.

I had to buy this one as well and now I am waitin' on the 110 degree doldrums to subside so I can feel like gettin' back to work on some mad modeling action.

Hello Jay, just saw on the local news tonight about the insane temps you are dealing with. According to the news, temps the like of which have some areas concerned for the safe being of people while outside! Here in NC we have had a cool summer compared to past summers. Last year we were in a draught at this time, now we are enjoying upper 80 degree temps when in the past they were in the 90's and above. Hope you enjoy cooler temps soon, I want to see some more of those excellent builds from ya.:DRick

Sounds good Rick.

Hey, it's cool on this side of the mountain too. I was having a cigar last night on my back patio, and I had to go inside and put some long pants on. Too cold for shorts! In late-July, early-August!!!

Look forward to seeing some pictures of your sub Rick.

80degree temps? It doesn’t ring a bell but I found out the formula how to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit. F=(C x 9/5) + 32. Today’s expected maximum temps is 27 degrees Celsius. So, it is equivalent to about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. We have cool summer lately here in Tokyo. Cool temps for model building but I can not afford to have time for a while so following your thread will be one of pleasures to me.

Glad everyone is having cool temps and enjoying the weather. Another idea down the drain. This kit does not allow for a frame-up build, then covering. At least I could not get to work. So printer back out and reprinting the frame. So I will build just as model was designed. You know us ole folk, we think we can always improve something one way or the other. So again I will start over this complex model, at least it is complex to me. Builds like a aircraft fuselage. So please bear with me, compared to past posting, I keep stalling photos. I just want to do this outstanding model the justice it deserves. SOOOOOO Photo soon!!!!!!! Rick
