Looking for kits

Hey folks,

Peter Heesch sent me an email asking about a couple of different ships.

One is a WWII New Orleans class cruiser, specifically the USS Tuscaloosa CA-37

Second is a Landing Ship, Tank, preferably the USS Alabama,

Off hand, I do believe a small scale LST exists, but I am not sure who put one out, as for the cruiser, I am at a loss.

So, does anyone know about any particular kit that might be out there?

Rick

Some time ago I saw an LST of the West German Navy. But the site where I saw it disappeared.
I am interested also in an LST from WWII.

So far, we have determined that the USS San Francisco is a New Orleans class Cruiser, CA-38, and both Halinski and Wilhelmshaven produce(d) a kit of it

If my memory is not failing me the site was the Kartonist.de and some one had designed an LST. Something like this:

One of my own projects was USS Tuscaloosa herself, but I haven't worked on it in years.
