I am sure it is going to be very nice.
The ship is truly historic as it is the first (?) that incorporates the full doctrine of amphibious operations. Air, sea, and land. although the air component in a surveillance way and not in a sea to shore transport.
I am also staying toned.

Thanks folks,

On with a fresh start with the reworked parts.

I have printed the structural parts on A4 sticky-label sheets and mounted onto 1mm greyboard. Saves a lot of messing around with spray adhesive.

Deck supports were swiftly cut out and assembled.

Whilst this was all setting up, I had a test of some of the parts which highlighted some misalignments. So back to the drawing board for some more tweeks.

Hi all,

The redrawn Akitsumaru is now docking and awaiting clearance for berthing. The air-group is enroute for landing.
