USS Ticonderoga (CG-47) - 1:250 - HMV
I have one more old build from my harddrive, and it's another HMV build of the guided missile cruiser USS Ticonderoga (1:250). Another HMV kit of fantastic quality, and built with the photo-etched metal detail set.

OMG!! Dude!! What a great ship! The Radar mast is incredible. Superb detail. The helicopters add a great visual scale reference. I want one.

Fantastic!
I look at work like yours and say to myself over and over, "Someday, I will be that good!"

Another fantastic build. I'm running out of superlatives (as
Don Boose has said) on your build projects.....Ron |

Jeepers. What a nice build! And an inspiration to the rest of us, too.

I was on the USS Yorktown (sister ship) as a kid in Cobh (Formerly Queenstown) and really liked the ship, Was it photo Etch or laser cut details?

This was built with the photo-etched set; although it is more expensive, I prefer the very sharp detail that photo-etched sets provide over lasercut ones.
