Guten Tag MichealD, I think I spelled that right. I am so pleased to see this subject posted here, as well as following your work on the German Papermodel Forum. I was stationed in the wonderful land of Germany in the mid to late 70's, and remember well watching these great river craft ply their trade up and down the Rhyne, almost every area you went that had a water way would have these slow wonderful boats carrying goods to all the different locations they could reach. You name it, I have seen loaded on a deck going down the river. Wonderful work and I am glad to see you posting here. Cheers, Rick

The model construction is very neat, tidy, and ship-shape, just like the original!
The photo of the cabin under construction is very useful to show the method you used to build it. Thank you. Don |

This barge is just amazing Michael! That shot of the wheel next to the 1 cent piece is just crazy. I know how tiny the coin is in real life (just found mine) and the wheel is absolutely tiny compared to the coin. Great precision work. Thanks for sharing :D
