The figures will make for some interesting posbilities. I hope you are going to include them in your release. Great work as always!

Fit checked

It is almost done. There were a few issues in the bridge. As soon they are fixed I will post PT 73.
Happy modeling.

PT 73 and True Zebra Corrected

Dear All:

Please find attached my interpretation of PT 73. I do not know how accurate it is since there are very few pictures of it and very funny videos about it.

On the other hand there are very limited pictures of the Vospers produced for Lend Lease for the Soviet Union, like PT-433. Also you may find Revells interpretation of the same boat. I presume that Revell got the plans or information from these Lend Lease constructions. The operating PT-73 was in fact PT-694 that was going to go to the Soviet Union but served instead as a tender to the Spruce Goose.

I hope you like it.

I am also attaching the correction to the True Zebra Scheme

I came across these and thought they might help. Not really sure why the boat looks different but....

Dear Rock55:
The issue is that they have three different boats. One Vosper for the sea scenes and two 63ft rescue boats in disguise as Vospers fot the Universal lot. Many times you can see both boats together. In one episode one is marked as PT 109!

https://www.google.com/search?q=63-f..._AUoAnoECBEQBA

I understand that these rescue boats also were used for diversionary actions by special forces by making noise and other distractions to confuse the enemy in particular the Mediterranean.

Finally stay safe and was your hands!

Thank you for clearing that up! I always wondered why there was such a difference in appearance. Now I know. Though I was sort of aware of the "crash Boats" in the Med, I do not really know a lot. I seem to recall a long ago magazine article about that. Tine to do a little digging...stay safe and stay well...hope this virus situation will be of short duration...Take care!
