Although not exactly from the Costal Forces, the High Speed Launches played a very important role in the Chanel and North Sea rescuing downed pilots. Here it is my interpretation of the HSL based mostly on Mr. Airfix planviews and the S-2 of JSC from more than a decade ago.

Well, well, well. These boats are stunning!!! as usual, another untouched chapter by you. As you said, watching McHale developed the interest in Torpedo Boats. Personally I prefer the Italians, keep aware of yourself, the canoe is not going to make you water. Best Regards, TONY.

Indeed, I have the likes of the sometimes obscure, yet important topics.
For example the U, S and R boots were in constant fights with the allies unlike the big cruisers or battleships! And I like these capital ships and their epic, often single sea battles, but the everyday life fighting was undersea or with small combatants.

While Mr. Huber Scott-Paine try to convince the Royal Navy of their need for fast torpedo boats, Vosper got the contracts with their private venture, its experimental MTB 102 predecessor of the fine line of MTBs. I understand that the original boat is still in service and made an appearance in the movie "Dunkirk" playing herself.

This is a rescale of the Micromodels. The cabin is also reduced a little bit in height to match the available info.

interesting fact: The Dutch navy ordered 20 mtb to be designed by the british powerboat co in 1938, only one managed to escape to england in may 1940, two others entered service in the kriegsmarine, but were sold later on during the war to Bulgaria. Other boats from the same batch (or order) were redesigned to a german design

Those were the S-151 to S-158, originally British Power Boats designs. Now the question is that the original designs of Mr. Scott-Paine ranged from 68' to 77" and these where almost 93'. The Royal Navy didn't have any MTB of that size at the beginning of the hostilities. The older German S-2 to S-5 were of similar size as the S-151. Did the German enlarged the hulls or these were of a new design?
