She looks simply beautiful Nils. As you said regarding one of my ships... she's a work of love. I was at lunch when I first encountered your post and a coworker who knows what I do for a hobby walked past, I had to show NORDERGRÜNDE off on your account: "*This* is how the professionals do it, he's detailed the *wheelhouse* for crying out loud..."

And should I ever be so lucky to cross the Atlantic, thank you for letting me know what to order at a Kneipe

Thank you very much Tim I think she´s the best model I built until now and that makes me happy. Over the last years, I learned a lot and much of it in the forums.

By the way: If you´ll come across the Atlantic I hope I can help you to find the right Kneipe and the best places for shipspotting at Bremerhaven too.

Back to NORDERGRÜNDE: I finished the mast which is also very important for her look. And what is a buoy tender without a buoy? Exactly that...

The mast looks awesome, you must be in the final stretch...and the bouy gives the working ship a proper task

Where to go is as important as what to order, would be honored to take you up on the offer. Where the Weser and Geeste meet strikes me as one of the coolest places on earth

Thank you Tim and Kevin! Today I completed NORDERGRÜNDE and am really satisfied with the result. It´s a well designed model with a lot of details and a lot of fun building it. Thank you for your interest and your comments!

Absolutely beautiful Nils, you have every reason to be satisfied, I think you've truly captured the original & honored her In the very best way. I hope someone from WSV or Fassmer sees your work & care with which you built her.

And looking forward to your next project

Thank you Tim and Joe, it was really great fun to build the model. I am sure someone of the waterway service will see her together with ZENIT and BRUNO ILLING after corona, because now they all found a place in my office and three our four times a year a colleague of the WSV comes there for a meeting
