Thank you Joe!

Thank you Tim! Hunting eagles is forbidden in Germany so I couldn´t get feathers for the federal eagle and he´s just made of paper

Last steps were a speedboat and a working boat with a davit, not easy to built but I am happy about the results.

This is fantastic work - I live in trepidation of cutting such small parts, maybe it's the amount of coffee I drink I see these kinds of vessels in my home city's port too and never made the connection to what they were used for.

You have constructed the deck furniture and detail with precision. It is going to be a really fine model.

Thank you Simon, Vivid and Don!

@ Simon: I don´t know why but I have less problems with smaller than with larger parts. Coffee and card modeling go together by drinking coffee in the morning and card modeling in the evening I like all kinds of working boats and ships which I have often seen in my youth in Bremerhaven. NORDERGRÜNDE is the third ship of the federal waterway services with Bremerhaven as home port I have build and parallel to it I am building another one, so it´s going to be a flottilla

@ Don: The model is really well designed with lots of details so it´s easy to get a fine result. The bridge interior is the only addition.

Thank you Greg!

Today I added some details to the top deck - the radome and the front fire monitor, which are rather small - and finally completed the crane and fixed the working boat. I am really satisfied with the results.

Beautiful work Nils! It's good to see her coming together, you have every reason to be satisfied. If I didn't know she was a waterline model I would guess her propellers to be firmly stuck in your cutting mat. Very cool.

And I like your 'local color' under the radome

Hello and thank you Tim! There is a new model of a waterway service ship, the NEUWERK, designed by Andreas Jacobsen. It´s with full hull and the propellers look quite good, as you can see here. So I guess I will get this model too and maybe even are going to build it sometimes, best placed in a dock

More and more details take place on my NORDERGRÜNDE including etch parts for the railing. Just one picture for today with the "real local" colours in front, if you ask people at Bremerhaven
