Perfectly round gun barrels and smooth hull.

Very nice build indeed!

Making good progress. So here is the mostly completed bow and foc'sle. A few minors parts yet but I want to have most hands on model completed first, so its on to the ship's boats. Then its on to the handling gear and torpedo nets booms.

I still have a majority of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th level small guns to put together. Blah - lots oh little bits. sigh

Nice work Greg.
Those gun barrels really look good inside the big round turrets.
The perfectly round turrets are fun to see. They were used for a long time.
From the first monitors right up into the first (Indiana) class of American battleships.

Beautifully done, looks like you've already had a wealth of tiny parts

Thanks all for your great comments. Much appreciated.

Ships boats are done. I copied the main sheet before I cut them out, to make an inside "part" to cover the white area once I cut between the benches. I had been using markers or some other method to color the inside of the boats but always had a bit of bleed through which made them look dirty and messy. This time I used the copied hull part, a bit of crayon and glues to the inside of the original part. Worked out pretty good.

The big red hull one is a torpedo boat. Hope they never needed to launch it in an emergency. It had to take hours to get some of these over the side and into the water. What were they thinking? LOL

Nice looking fleet of boats Greg.
That torpedo boat (practical or not) will look great installed on the ship.
