Your build is looking great. My project had to be put on hold. Parts got too small for me to see without a magnifying glass. I did get some of the cannons built up. I'll pick it back up when I get some home time. Your photos will help me a lot.

Thanks Knife. Hope you get back to it soon.
Not much progress lately. Small stuff.
Some ladders in the engine room. The cook stove in the galley.
The base for the turret and the big gear that turns it.
cheers Jim

It has been a while without much progress.
The drive for turning the turret is done.
I don't know if it can be called an engine or not.
It has pistons and a tiny crankshaft so maybe.
Next is a bunch of steam pipes connecting the
boilers it the engine. Lots of tubes to roll. Groan.
cheers Jim

Getting back to the engine room is this part of the steam manifold.
It combines the steam from the two boilers to one feed going to the engine.
I have no idea what the little valve handle is for.
The next to last pic shows the installed orientation and the last the two white
spots on the boilers where it will attach later.
cheers Jim

Hello Jim: I must say . . . there is a lot of mechanics and detail inside this vessel.
Will it all be visible when the model is completed?

Yes there is a lot of detail Mike. The deck is a separate model. See pics 1 and 2.
I am thinking of making a stand to put the deck vertically above and behind the hull
with the edges touching as if it had been opened as a cover.
So both sided of the deck would be visible and the hull interior.
Have to see how this works out.
Meanwhile the other half of the steam manifold. The last pic shows the engine pipe
where the red end of the manifold attaches to the engine.
cheers Jim
