HMS Terror ?

Is there a paper card model of HMS Terror available? Wife and daughter are fascinated with the story, so I said I would inquire.

I've never heard of the cardboard "Terror".
It would be a very interesting model.

That it would, but I'm not unhappy with being "off the hook" either.

The HMS Terror gunboat is available for sale at Tin-soldier.com. The kit can be downloaded or a printed copy can be mailed. Additionally they sell detail parts to enhance your models.

Thanks for the link Paper Fun. I was looking for the mid 19th century sailing ship lost in the Artic. However this site has some cool models which I have bookmarked for future shopping.
Thanks again

well, somebody is stealing from somebody.
I noticed a lot of familiar designs on the tin-soldier site.

This Gas Station diorama (for sale at tin-soldier) is almost exactly the same one that Mauther gives away for free.
Haunted Garage

So, who designed it and who stole it? lol

The TV series The Terror was pretty good...I thought...although full of fantasy.
I guess it was based on some actual history, but it was pure fictional drama.

If you haven't seen it, its worth a watch...the ship plays a huge part in it.

Thats the ship that the Canadians recently found right?
Its wreckage, anyway.

There are some big mysteries surrounding how it ended up in intact, right side up, where it is.
And they found a smaller boat near it too.

That is the ship I was hoping to find a card model of. There is a built up wooden model of it that is far out of both my price and skill range. Oh well, perhaps some day. I didn't care too much for the mini-series, but it had both wife and daughter glued to the Babel Box every time it came on.

Ocre has a wood ship model kit of HMS Terror for sale.
There is enough documentation available to form basis of accurate paper model.
