Thanks! No, actually the bottom plates come in 2 parts. I start at the waterline and adjust at the keel, where the parts come together. Also, these HMV kits are always so well designed that only little adjustment is ncecessary.
When merging the lower and upper parts of the hull there will be a strip along the waterline to mask any imperfections.

And now let's move above the waterline:

That's quite a complex egg crate you have assembled! It is always a great pleasure to see your exceptionally clean and precise work.

I note that the big Seatrout is currently in the North Sea heading toward Antwerp from Bilbao (https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...essel:SEATROUT).

Thanks Don! I've always got a special appreciation for Peter Brandt's designs, and this is another nice one.

Back in 2017 the original had an oopsie on the Schelde river:

Looks just a good from Ghana as it does from the Netherlands.
Cheers Marco.

Thanks Mike!
I'm still building, but running a bit behind on updates. So here's a bit of progress on the bow section:

I always enjoy seeing images of your work in progress. Everything looks very cleanly cut and precisely assembled.

What is the curved yellow line on the deck?

Hi Don, the yellow line is part of the helideck perimeter.
Here is the skin on the bow section above water, and merging the section above and below the waterline.

Thanks for the info on the helo-pad perimeter marking.

That bow section is picture perfect.

Thanks Don!
Here is the same for the stern section, and a test fitting (even though the two sections will remain separate).
