CVN 65 USS Enterprise 1/300

Started to test the unroll on the hull today came out looking like gtb's so there is a reasonable hope that it will be somewhere near right. The hull sides look a damn site better in print than they do on the screen.

I will adjust the output from Pepa to fit on 10" x 7.5" John no panic will send you a flight deck in a couple of days. All them little aeroplanes to do yet !!

Very nice looking hull Barry. I like the inside view. The 1:300 aircraft are not for me though.

Exciting project, Barry! Can't wait to see the little planes, but you don't need to draw them up do you? (can use existing models?)

Elevators

Sorry keep forgetting things like saying thank you for stopping bye etc

The basic hull appears to unroll ok so I have been trying to fix the sponsons and elevators and a minor adjustment should fix the elevator size. Looks ok in theory building it will be a bit harder I think.

There is the obligatory error right in the centre as usual the lower catwalk has ben left in midair.

Wotcher, bazzer!

Beautiful start, mate; the initial unfold looks very promising.

You amaze me, another major ship project...when do you rest, mate?

Cheers!
Jim

No panic......... No panic!!......... heck barry I can not even finish a model lately:o......... how may have you designed so far this year? 3 - 4 - er 5?

Now that I've found all the parts for Michael's PC I should have some time to work out your deck......... heck I can't build anything, maybe I can paint something and not crumple it up and toss it in the ash can.

Oh......... Dang good job so far barry!:D That last screen shot is amazing!

john

Hey John

The only model I have finished recently is the Container ship I have bits laid around everywhere might actually finish the LSM rails this weekend. Still daft bits to do on Richelieu including the rails and I am looking with loathing at a soldering iron. Enterprise, Agano and...................................

What time frame is your Big E to represent? The ship as she is now, or with her classic "beehive" antenna mount that she had through the 80's?
