The authentic Nautilus

Hi This is the authentic Nautilus, according to designer Ron Miller, inspired by Verne's description in his novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" According to Miller, the one in the movie is very spectacular but does not fit the description of the submarine described in the novel. It measures 96 cm in length, I increased it in scale. Propeller, rudder, and deep rudders works

A beautiful build, as always from you.
Thanks for your photos, and the link to the cutout.

The cutout is very good, but the instructions are almost non-existent. The support is very poorly designed, but can be reinforced with cardboard. There is an error in the part that goes from the top of the hull to the bridge; is SHORT. It is easily arranged by making TWO COPIES of this piece, joining them in half its length adjusting it first on the bow

These are photos from the original cutout holder. I have had to reinforce it with 1 mm cardboard and as you can see, it does not adjust to the curvature of the hull or hold the keel, so it rotates on its longitudinal axis. I'll design a more functional one.

But everything else in the kit is very good

Your build is excellent...and Heinkel's model is awesome looking.

I have no idea if this submarine design is as Jules Verne envisioned, but I think the Rudder position (ahead and below the prop) would be quite ineffective.
I'd say there would be difficulty yawing the ship and she would want to roll when the rudder is applied.

...
The part error you mentioned, may be something that the Author could fix...?
We could pass along the details to him.
