Let go!!
Cut the first piece of paper And more... Al these pieces become the backbone of the ship: The ribs are laser cut so that's easy Dry-fit on the backbone The ships floor also laser cut: Dry-fit, dry-fit, dry-fit....... And even more dry-fit Started to glue the ribs on the backbone, LEGO helps to do this very straight. And the first mistake in the laser parts....there is no tab... So cut the tab myself.... Fred

And now it fits!
Al the ribs are glued on the backbone: The decks glued on the ribs: second mistake in the laser parts.... twice the same tabs... so cut of the tabs Glue, glue, glue... That's a nice start Fred

Thanks guys!
Next the first layer of the skin: But first sand the ribs in a good shape: One of the decks is to wide, so sand this to: And than glue the waterline: And upper line: Nice working in the sun The first layer is glued on: Next the skin itself, but first cut.... Fred

That's a very solid and precise-looking framework, Fred!
I can't wait to see the ship with its light green skin on. Don |
