1/100 Despatch No.9 tugboat
Here's my most recent build. I started it almost immediately after the GAZ-51 had been finished.
The model comes from Drafmodel 2/2009 and it's in 1/100 scale. It's really nicely designed and the parts fit great. Of course, sometimes you may find some tiny inaccuracies but they're nothing to worry about. It's also worth to point out that the kit does not provide the interior. But as I wanted to make this tugboat as realistic as possible, I did the interior from scratch. Despatch No.9 was built in 1945 and was used in New York, according to the model kit, but the Online Archive of California states that this tug was also used in San Francisco. https://oac.cdlib.org/findaid/ark:/13030/c8p55t42/
