Thanks for all your nice comments.
Hirta is growing, another parts on.
I made a good use of spare colour sheet. I messed up two little parts and had to make my own ones out of the spare colour. Also breakwater 57 and booms 63 - instead of glueing them in pairs, I glued them to spare colour sheet and cut out.
Oh I made davits and boats also!!! Used lasercut parts. Lasercut davits - twist the top bits of both parts till both ends meet. To make them flexible enough to bend them and not break them - 1 drop of water will do the trick. Red boats turned out quite well I think.

I, too, would be very pleased if my models turned out like this.

Thank you all for your lovely comments!!! They encourage me to keep posting on how the progress goes.
Today small parts - bollards, capstans etc, and mast. Another use of my spare colour sheet. I wasn't able to cut out little tiny discs with my scissors, so I used a hole puncher. And a plastic rod for the bollards .
I made the mast also. With a little help of lasercut parts

For a first model, I would say that you are doing better than most of us.
Delicate hands and more patience I guess!

Fine work on the deck furniture and the bridge work, Kasia.

Thanks very much for the step-by-step images of your work. These are very helpful for anyone who plans to build this model, and your methodologies are of interest for any ship model.

Don

Hi Kasia,
Great progress! Was wondering about part 96 - the instructions are misleading or the part is made wrong?
Regards,
Alan
