Looking at the hull, sails and rigging . . . Its an outstanding piece of work.
Question: How did you get the model to stand up on the keel for the photos?

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing! I've debated trying my hand at a sailing model (card stock or otherwise) but the rigging always scares me haha. Something like this does look like a good first try. Only one mast to figure out.

Michel - it's not magic :-))) The hull is supported by a small piece of an old silicone mold for casting :-)

Tomek, thank you very much for the detailed answer. From the physical science point of view fixing of stay on bowsprit is less effective than fixing on the stem. This conclusion was the basis of my question.
