Detail is superb. Nice when you can paint the model, allows for a lot more creative ways to achieve what you're looking for.

Thanks Olo, I recognize that model! It's ripped from World of Warships. Both WoWS and the one from WarThunder appear to be very well-researched, and makes surprisingly good reference material. (game-balancing modifications aside)

First time I am trying to paint a model, and as someone said it is your model and I don't see why not some people say you can't paint it

Unfortunate I couldn't find any good historical pictures of that section of the ship so used 3d model as reference

Don't worry. In some respects these are actually better than the Kagero-series 3D books. You have done the right thing.

Check out my IJN battleships, cruisers and Hiryu. Mostly. Angraf kits. Painted all of them and I like the results. Very beneficiary with Angraf. Their models are superb but require lots of adlib editing. All easily covered up with paint.
