Thanks for kind words. I know this model is all about wires , but it is ok it gives me chance to practice working with tiny wires

Lex,

I'm terrified looking at the detail! - Think this model must in the super-difficult range?!

You give a great explanation of HOW things actually went, or didn't - just as brilliant as the model!

Regards,
Alan

I realised you coloured everything, and meant making every detail in relief. That is a lot of added effort, keep it up!

Yes with this model I am practicing with my airbrush ...I just found your build of Fuyuzuki what an amazing build. Maybe you could share your secret for cutting so precisely you parts for crates and radars ....or you use extra PE parts or laser cut ones ???If yes where are you getting them from ?

Ha, yes, sorry to say that I don't do it myself, and can't cut as smoothly. I draw my own laser parts and have them cut elsewhere. Laser is cheap compared to PE and is very convenient for small runs - custom PE only gets cheap with large production runs. My skill with metalwork is very bad and don't use metal unless absolutely needed

You're off to a fantastic start on this one Tom, you're really making me want to build a ship but I have so many unfinished projects on the go I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. Looking forward to seeing more of this one as it progresses.
