Just saw the pics, wow, amazing build - Don is right, ships of this era do have a real olde world charm about them.
Question - how did you make the railings? I'm not up to that sort of detail yet, best I would do is order lasercuts. But - I see yours are 4 bar plus toprail - I am intrigued. Did you make them? Is the cap rail different or just painted different? Regards, Alan |

For those who are interested in the railingsets: They are lasercut cardboard sets that require the utmost carefulness as they are very fragile. They need to be reinforced in some way. I mostly apply a layer of white glue very carefully and let it dry. But I think everybody has its own way of reinforcing these railingsets. Available through: Scaldis at Terneuzen, Holland.
