INS Haifa (K-38)

From Wikipedia
HMS Mendip (L60) was a Hunt-class destroyer of the Royal Navy. She was a member of the first subgroup of the class. The ship is notable for seeing service in the navies of three other nations after her use by the Royal Navy. She saw service in the Second World War and later as an Egyptian Navy ship named Ibrahim el Awal in the Suez Crisis. she was dispatched to Haifa with the aim of shelling that city’s coastal oil installations. On 31 October she reached Haifa and began bombarding the city with her four 102 mm (4 inch) guns. She was captured in battle on 31 October 1956 by the Israeli Navy and re-commissioned as INS Haifa (K-38)

Thank you again. We are getting all the recent history of naval warfare of Israel and surroundings (and including one item from Biblical times!).

Thank you very much for sharing this extraordinary collection of models from the Israeli Naval Service magazine. I have known about the IAF aircraft models for a long time, but learned about these ships more recently. Is there a list available of the entire series, including hte booklet numbers and the date of publication?

Others that I know of include: Supply ship Maoz K-24, (was USCG Sythera) and Landing ship F-51. Are the 4 that you mention also part of this series?
