Carpathia rigging! I managed to eat that frog at last! I was taught by Bartek and his uncle a method that his uncle has been using for decades. To cut a long story short, I tied the elastic 0,08 mm threads to the masts, drilled tiny holes in the decks at the places marked with black dots. Then the threads were passed through the decks and fixed with little pieces of paper and a tiny drop of PVA glue underneath. Painted black with acrylic paint. Some more rigging still left to do.
regards, Kasia

Great job Kasia, looks lovely, ships of that era were so elegant! I am watching and learning for my own build...
What are the 4 big masts made from?
What are the little masts in the polystyrene made from?
Are they painted with acrylic?

Regards,
Alan

@Alan, thank you!!!
Yes ships were very nice back there. I am watching other builds and learning from other modelers and from my family, as modeler's genes run in the family
Masts are made from plastic rod and booms are made from wire. I painted them with acrylic paint yes.

@Wireandpaper, thank you!!! I hope my model will be finished by Monday!

Carpathia 1:400. This is the very first model that I’ve ever made from A to Z. I added lasercut railings using photos I found in the Internet.
I made a lot of mistakes, but building her was a great fun.
Thank you for all your comments and your advices during my build. I really appreciate that.
regards, Kasia
