JSC HMS Exeter
I recently finished JSC's scale 1:400 model of HMS Exeter. It took me some time because of the number of small parts. Enjoy.

That's a lot of fiddly detail to tackle. Great build!

Beautiful model of a historic warship.
These JSC models build up nicely, and in the hands of someone like yourself with the skill to add details, they become superb models. Don |

Thank you all for the appreciation. I have put a lot of work into the small parts and the rigging but it has paid of. She looks majestic.

Looks really great, esp with the rigging.
Would be great if you could talk about what were the difficult bits and how you solved the difficulties......? I would be really interested to know about how you managed the rigging, I haven’t tried anything as fiddly yet. One discovery I did make was JSC sell elastic thread, which I think would be brilliant where you want to have several lines in parallel. Regards, Alan |
