I have he JSC model it is amazing . I have to build it and am going to this winter when things slow down .

Thank you all.....my wife rediscovered the Gordon Lightfoot song honoring the late crew. We've become quite interested with her history and story of what happened to ship and crew....

I have also built the JSC kit, and it's a wonderful model. (I just wish I had known about the laser-cut parts back then. I suspect that might have sped up the project considerably!)

there was a documentary on one of the discovery channels about the Edmund Fitzgerald. very interesting and chilling at the same time. I can't listen to the song without experiencing a sense of awe, loss and sadness, being a former sailor.
