For difficult colors to match what I do I take sample of the color go to home depot and buy a sample paint for 2$ and computer matches the paint very close to to he original. Markers are not so good to color edges.

Bridge nearly completed. I used fine steel mesh for the mast and deck edge netting.

That bridge really looks sharp.
You choose your non-paper materials well.
The mesh works.

Started the F4F portion of the airwing. 10 of 18 built. These are tedious little models in their own. Not historically accurate but decided to line up 4 on the catapult and several behind. I plan to build 2 Avengers full wing and the rest folded. 30 planes on these little carriers is pretty amazing. 50 ships, 30 planes each, U.S. in this class alone was the largest flying navy at any time of the war by far. The Axis powers never had a chance with the un-molested manufacturing might of the U.S.

The massive "over equipped" U.S. military is the reason U.S. manpower losses were so minimal compared to the other combatants.
