Nice work Joe.
I see your Coeur de Lion can be converted to a waterline model. That was not easy to do, with those paddel wheels. Is it ready for your diorama? |

Separating the wheels was very difficult. There were four attempts before it ... I didn't build a boat for a long time, maybe that's why the work is harder now. Indeed, the waterline version will be presented in a diorama, in the harbor ... I will display an event. But for that, I even equip the quay with people and the necessary items. Sorry for the bad English, google translator will help. But I hope you understand ... And of course I wish you all a happy New Year! Regards, Joe

Hello everyone!
I managed to finish the boat during the holidays. I built it a long time ago, so I had to practice a lot of things again. I supplemented Mr. Mörck's model with the underwater part. I also cut additional windows for the wheelhouse. I will continue the work shortly: the barge and the balloon ... So it introduces itself: the LION HEART Regards, Joe

Fine work Joe.
It will fit perfectly into your "Harbour 1800s" diorama. Mike Last edited by Michael Mash; 01-03-2021 at 03:20 PM. Reason: Spelling correction |

I can't believe the detail that is packed into this little model. Really outstanding work.

That is a great little model, especially the clean hull. But I must have missed something because when I looked at the parts the model seems to be a waterline model only. Did you draw and make your own formers for the underwater hull, and if you did, where did you get the pattern for them.
