Thanks Don, just having another burst of modelling mayhem.

Some other small bits I did earlier. Carley float supports from paper strips. The mushroom vents are from cut-down brass pins



One of the scratch-built ship's boats and cable reels (I've just noticed I need to touch up the paint work here).



Forward superstructure with navigation and spotting aids in position and starting to mount the guard rails.



Coming along nicely with a launch date in sight.
