I'm trying to build the two tender-boats.

Not rescue boats, because back then they didn't exist.

These boats should serve as a means of transport between ship and shore,
or to work to enable the ship to like positioning anchors, bringing water in the water, etc.

At that time there was no talk of rescue boat.

so my idea is finally:

1- to have / cut a very simple styrofoam shape,

2- pack them with domopack

3- and then strip with wet paper and constantly glue them to a brush with water and glue, "until you get something".

like pappemarche ... again not a real technical term

-------------------------------------------------------------------

she is not a beauty but as ertes think she is ok.
second boat comes later...............

with the colors, "old swede", I think so, man in north germany,

it looks very much like swedish flag.

believe I have to come up with something with flank decoration to make

it look less Ike .... (schedischer moebel haus)

short story:

Ships that are not intended for the king would not have many decorations, because most of these ships would have an ore life, due to storm, karpen, material pollution, etc.
The French ships used by the private financiers to give protection to their merchant ships were built and kept particularly economical. And those for the route to india / china were meant to be there for years to come.

only regulation vahr the area in blue royal should be

French line ships were wider and built with deeper hulls than the English ones in order to stay far away from their homeland.

The route france / india / china wa so determined that the convoy from france to nell Île de Bourbon (today Réunion island) had an escort who was replaced there by the asia escort. to travel far to india / china - and elsewhere for the way back.

construction of the gratings, in a very unison,

also because i don't have a drawing of how the deck is or how it is divided.

same for my fantasy the deck beam,
the black of tea and drawn with pencil.

simply drawn with black stiff on some fin-cardboard.

Details of the beam deck.
-- foto 0.
I didn't scratch the tip of a pair of scissors between the coffee sticks and poke a small point where the nails are.
Then these places are drawn with a black felt stiff.

the inside of the parapets,

- I just put a piece of fin cardboard on it and
- the contour of the upper edge is drawn,
- this part cut out and tested against it, and who is ok true,
- Orizzontal reinforcing strips glued to it.
- then again a small test on board,
- and then given a red color.
