HMS Queen Elizabeth 1:800

Hi guys, hope you all in good health and fine.

First model to build this year, it's the HMS Queen Elizabeth. Interesting ship for the Royal Navy, with two Island on deck

Plan to make 1:800 scale, which my favorite scale. Here's some early progress.

Cheers

The Big Lizzy looks interesting. Do you have any plans on creating a Big Charlie too? I only ask because I have a nephew serving on Charlie, and I know his Mum and Dad would love a model of it, as no doubt would many of its crew.

I haven't research for HMS Prince of Wales (RO9), is it typical? or is there any different specification? if it's the same I think I just change the "Q" into "P"

here's some progress

I'm afraid I have no knowledge of how similar or different the two ships are either. I'm only aware that they are the same "Class". Peter seems to be getting a lot of "home" time lately though, so I assume the Big C has broken down ... again.

Don't know much about either of them. All I know is that Peter was due to be away for a month or two ... but turned up back at home after two weeks.

From wikipedia:
"....In May 2020, Prince of Wales experienced flooding which the Royal Navy described as "minor". This was followed by more significant flooding in October 2020 which caused damage to her electrical cabling. She is currently confined to docks where she is expected to remain for at least six months whilst repairs are made. Her long-planned deployment to the United States to undertake her first F-35B trials has been cancelled.[39]"
