What an informative thread this has turned out to be! An interesting, historically significant, and good-looking ship. A well-executed model. Lots of good images of the model, lots of good information about the original ship and the Maritime Commission ships, and dialogue between the model builder and the designers resulting in useful information for future builders! To my mind, an ideal combination.

Water & Glue mix about 3 water to 2
glue maybe less as long as it sticks to base when completely dry.

7.
Bow waves created using brush edge.

One coat of Liquitex Acrylic phthalocyanine blue

Vivid Lime Green

Titanium White,
Model base cut out helps establish wake.

11.
Wake corrected by dabbing white and blue.

Clear Gloss

Bob, etal,
I corrected three of my four T2 models to add the hull tabs. The fourth one, Escambia, already had them. I have uploaded the revised models.

Thank you for pointing out the missing tabs.
