Turret is all closed up with pin secured to rotate about.

The base that the turret attaches to has the center cut out for the pin on the top surface and on the bottom I cut out a securing washer. All glued up the assembly will be ready to mount on deck.

Finally something of significance to show. I just became aware that the kit hasn’t provided enough search lights for all the designated locations. Good thing I made some photo copies of the kit.

Nice bit of progress shown on these pictures.
Since most of the sub-assemblies have been made, progress will be fairly quick until I reach all the davits, booms and rigging. |
