The aft secondary gun is provided in the kit and its location is obvious, but there are no markings as where to cut. I will do it in the same fashion as the forward secondary. That omission could mean that if you weren't keeping close track of your build you could inadvertently omit these.

I want to mimic the hull plating as shown in the attached drawing. So I over-plated with bristol board below the waterline. You can also see that I have since added the kit plating above the waterline, but now feel compelled to do a similar treatment on this as I did below the waterline... and that's where it stands now.

for the problems youve had i have to say well done hull is looking good i like the idea you had with the guns works well please keep the photos coming great build

Nice decision to over plate the lower hull. Needed to be painted anyway.

I went to place on the forward deck and it needs some wrap-around on its aft face to close out the gap. This piece is too short to do the job. I decided to cut it at its center and then deal with a filler afterwards.
