The good ship Endeavour is back on the workbench. Weather warmed just enough (spring is finally here) that I could go out on the porch and do the sanding on the other half of the hull. Sanding the putty smoot unavoidably makes you sand the paper too so I had to constantly fortify some spots with CA (shiow gray areas in the picture). But all is now done and the hull recieved lacquer to protect it before applying the paint. When removing the protective masking some damage occurred because the tape was attached so long - lesson learned and all nicks are fixable. I also stripped the deck area of all fittings to be able more freely proceed building the reelings.

His Majesty's Barque has a very smooth hull.
Nice to read spring has arrived in Finland.
It feels like winter here.

Splendid, Tappi!

Awesome results! Bravo!
I am sure whatever damage you caused, in the end it will be as if never happened…

Thank you Mike, Don and Radek! I'm pleased that I did the extra work with the hull. In fact so pleased I decided to do the same make-over with the ship's boats. :-) Results later.

While involved in the make-over business I decided to correct the cannon too. Dane rightly noted it was out of proportions (post #88) so I lightened the nozzle/muzzle area a bit and it looks so much better compared to it's previous appearance.
